COVID-19 Policies

To my valued new clients, friends, and family members:

I am so excited to welcome you back to my salon! I’ve missed your hugs and all the laughter we share. In response to the Governor’s Executive Order, a great deal of thought and care has gone into making sure my salon environment and your salon experience is as safe as possible. Therefore, effective immediately, I have implemented the following new policies to conduct services.

PLEASE ACKNOWLEDGE

Appointments scheduled online or over the phone will require acknowledgement of these policies before completing your booking. Failure to acknowledge these policies will result in a refusal of service.

Any credit card deposits placed on your impending service will be retained by the salon and treated as a cancellation for failure to acknowledge or adhere to these policies.

For acknowledged appointments booked online or over the phone, the following shall apply:

  • Upon arrival, please call/text me to let me know. Wait in your car until I notify you it’s safe to come in.

  • You will be required to wash your hands in the public restroom upon arriving to the salon studios.

  • You will be required to sanitize your hands at my sanitation station each time you enter my salon.

  • I can only service one person at a time. Client visitors/guests are not allowed. If your child is receiving services, only one parent allowed.

  • You will be required to wear a face mask while in my salon. I will provide a disposable mask for your convenience.

  • You will be required to answer a questionnaire regarding travel/symptoms, etc.

  • You will be required to receive a shampoo with your service.

  • As a courtesy to the next guest, please exit the studio immediately after your service is complete.

As your main stylist and salon manager, the following measures will take place:

  • I will have my temperature checked before reporting to work.

  • I will wear PPE while conducting your service.

  • I will wash and sanitize and my hands between clients.

  • All seating, tables, dryers, hair-washing and styling stations, and capes will be sanitized between clients’ use and at the end of each day.

  • To the extent possible, disposable items will be used.

  • Refreshment services will be cancelled until further notice. You’re welcome to bring in a drink of your own, no food please.

  • All payments for services will be credit/debit card or Venmo only. The credit-card machine will be wiped and sanitized after each use.

WAIVER

I acknowledge and agree to all above policies from Iridescent Hair Co. I also understand that before any service may be performed, I agree to the following:

  • To cancel/reschedule my appointment within 24 hours if I am not feeling well for any reason, or if I have been exposed to anyone that has tested positive to the coronavirus in the past 14 days, or if I have any reason to believe that I have or have had the coronavirus within the last 14 days.

  • To agree to waive and not pursue any claim against Iridescent Hair Co should I experience any coronavirus symptoms or test positive for coronavirus after receiving services from the salon.
